Not sure what I'm doing in June Cleggy, but won't rule this one out.

Wittering does look to be ideally situated for a North / South get together, being smack on the A1. :) Cottesmore replacement?

I found a vid from a couple of weeks back. Must admit it doesn't really look that inspiring, but I remember looking at Cottesmore vids before we did one and wrongly thought the same. Javelin look to have created a good number of grassy apexes, which is what I liked about Cottesmore.

I notice the Harrier take off ramp is still there.. wonder how far a Westy would fly at max velocity!:laugh:

Is this one of them RAF tracks that wrecks paintwork ?

I did a track day at Dishforth on my bike, and some style guru's covered their whole fairings in MASKING TAPE

I also noted that day that I made a Metzeler Rennsport rear completely bald from side to side

Whats the consensus on body finish, will it get wrecked ?

Mr Bobler sir,

Tank tape is your friend. While I make this statement with no experience of whittering, I am pretty certain that it will be abrasive and will cause chips, so covering all forward areas with tape is a good idea.

Rear arches + the inside of the rear edge.

Sides of body behind the front wheels

Front arches

Nose cone edge

Mirrors and screen up rights.

Wishbones and steering arms.

Also, drop off the cars in front and find some space s this will also minimise your stones a lot.

You could use bubble wrap, Liam did.....I still laught at it now, by it was effective
