Carbon Wrapping - Is It Just Me...

....or does anyone else find it ironic that some of us, in an effort to make their cars look like they're made from lightweight carbon fibre by using wrapping materials are, in fact, making their cars heavier? ???

Discuss.

Wish I'd thought of starting a flame-producing thread like this when I still had 100% of the snack food profits...!

Ditto, the only carbon on mine is the real McCoy :d

Carbon is just a fad :d and not timeless like chrome :p

What they hey, if it's your car you can do whatever the feck you want with it.....

Just don't get all P*ssy when people mock you for wrapping yer bits in stickyback plastic ala Val Singleton.... :arse::d :d :d

If it had pink elephants on it instead of a pastiche of carbon fibre, would it still be as popular?

It can surely only be viewed as a sticky (tacky? :suspect::p ) visual adornment for those so predisposed....

I knew at the back of mind that this topic might get started :p

I was in the same frame of mind before I saw it close up, and on tin tops especially it can just add a lovelly style to the car. Only in small quantities though and I disagree with people who wrap their whole cars, this is something that i think is done on council estates! ;)

But a small bit of carbon wrapping can definatly make a difference in certain parts of the car whether it be on a kit car or a tin top.

And quite frankly I couldn't give a donkeys d*** if people disagree with me ;)

Stirring the pot to stimulate snack food sales (of which I still get 50% of the profits) IS my work, mate!

The other aspect is to stimulate membership growth...so more snack food gets sold!

I'm not as dumb as I look, you know! :p:d
