Northampton Motorsport Posted February 5, 2012 Author Posted February 5, 2012 It certainly looks more dramatic than it feels but you can imagine what fun it must be to drive one flat out in competition. yes they are both BDA's built by Jondel race engines in Irchester Northampton. If you want one they are 19K plus vat for a brand new (every nut and bolt, fully dressed with carbs and sump etc) engine Quote

Or you could by a new Mondeo for the same money Quote
s2rrr Posted February 11, 2012 Posted February 11, 2012 I must have spent weeks in the forest of Clocaenog North Wales listening out for Roger Clark and newer guys to come hammering through in his/there escorts. RAC and Welsh rallies. The noise of the twin webers in the dead of night echoing through the trees was something else. We've all gone a bit noise aware now but once heard never forgotten, bit like that 16 cylinder BRM video that was posted a while ago, awesome. Sadly I have a set of tunnels going under Manchester airport runways quite near and having a little dabble through there in the Westfield is also quite nice to do, sticking to the speed limit yer 'onor.
