Bit of a numptie question, but better safe than sorry before I make my first attempt at cutting fibreglass:

Dremel don't seem to include a fibreglass column in their guide: are the speedclic metal cutting discs the weapon of choice or is there another type that's better suited?

C603D PX 600 domed filter should be OK. Looks like your bonnet cut-out could do with being enlarged a bit anyway to avoid the bonnet cutting into the filter. Height wise depends how long the trumpets
