Very nice pictures !

I like the old school look (swept wings) for narrow bodied Westfield.

Keep some unpublished for next year calendar

I am in the office now and it's snowing, I am leaving now, wish me good luck :)

Stunning pictures.

I was nearly up there today as well. Went to Abington, then Biggar, Lanark and down the Clyde Valley. I wish I had known and we could have met up.

Anyway, when the sun was out it was awesome today, but when I took the wee car out the garage this morning it was -2 and when I came back in at 1.30 it was 1c. Had to wash the car as the rear number plate was almost illegible. The salt spray had also worked its way into the inside of the car as well. I had to hose it down inside and out. Hopefully will get it bck out over the weekend. The only down side to todays blat was I forgot my wallet and was running low on fuel or I would still be out.

The other thing is it was a slow journey. The roads are so slippy. The car was like a bar of soap in the bath at time. But still smiling. Glad I didnt SORN it

One of my favourite all time funnies Captain. They just don't make comedy films with a laugh every minute, anymore.

Fraser,

Did you get my PM?

Need to make the most of days like these - just a pain having to clean off the salt underneath but worth it though.

A couple of videos I took today - they are fairly poor quality and the gearbox noise competes with the wind noise!

Cheers,

Dave.

Dave,

I got your PM and have your email address.

This morning was a bit of a last minute thing. I had people for dinner and it could have involved a fair amount of alcohol, but it was a very tame evening with just a couple of glasses of wine, so I headed out. Had it been a session, then the car would have stayed in the garage.

I agree we need to do this more often.

The roads were slippery and I certainly wasnt able to open mines up like you were able to in the videos. The only thing about that road around Wanlochead is the potholes..

Maybe over the weekend I will get back out, but after the thorough scrubbing the car got I am reluctant to get it dirty again  .

Out in the Peak District yesterday evening. Was caving and used the car to get to Monyash. Most of the roads were bone dry, with the occasional greasy stretch to keep me on my toes. Clear sky overhead and moonlight bathing the countryside. Beautiful. One of those special trips. So much salt on the roads. White, rather than black tarmac in colour.

Was it cold though. Had thermals on, down jacket, windproofs and helmet. Fortunatly the caving trip was a dry one and we were out in time for the pub to warm up a bit before the drive home!
