markcoopers
Now then chaps, we have 2 hotels to choose from. 1) A very nice family run friendly hotel that we would pretty much occupy, so are very willing to accomodate us. Esssentially £120 per person for all 3 nights on a B&B basis. Dinner can be as little at £10 extra or we are free to use the taown about a mile walk to the centre or bring back take aways etc. Down side is no bar and a mile walk. We can bring booze back thoiugh, no issues. 2) More traditional hotel with pool, spa, bar etc, much larger with some 200 rooms etc but more of a relax at hotel. Down side is the cost, this being £200 for the 3 nights B&B. Dinner here can be either £25 a night or included in rate at £240, or eat out a 1/3mile walk into town. Votes please. SparkyB
Pool and Spa please....... On a more serious note, is the parking good (secure) at both?
housebeautician
Prefer the pool job but will go with the flow. Parking also a consideration.
zxr400
cheepe for me and lindy please mark,as we will be driveing most of the time
XTR2Turbo
Happy to go with the flow but would pay extra if it also comes with more secure parking. I probably prefer the flexibility of choosing when / where to eat in the evening rather than full board. David
markcoopers
Neither has what you would call locked and secure parking, but both are off street and hidden. The cheaper option is a large car park behind the hotel hidden......much like the Old Rectory one i suppose The more expensive one is a car park on the hotel, but is at the end of a private road to reach....... like any modern hotel really, oh it is tree covered.
