Great first show, interesting if Will.i.am is as good as his word with trying to do good in the ghetto, but did strike me as being very lucky to get a finger in all the pies he has.

On the cars they were all good, but for me it would be the MP34, just so good in all areas and more exclusive than the Lambo. The noble is a fantastic car but you would have to have a lot of money to waste to buy one at the price they said. The depreciataion will be off the scale for that car and will always be tagged with the built in a shed comment.

Lets hope they keep up the standard for the rest of the series.

what the devil is an MP34? haven't watched the prog yet but from a cursory glance at the trailer I assume people mean the McLaren MP4-12C :sheep:

Loved the first show too, I'd have to agree on the best episode for a while, as well. :d

I do sort of feel for the Noble guys, as a brand, they just don't seem to have the right sort of image at the moment; they're almost in the sort of geeky place Lotus were/are with the Elise. Fantastic car, but really just appealing to the car-bore/petrol head  certainly, as a brand, they're off the radar with all the people I know who could actually afford one.

Careful Peter, the Honey Monster may be after you!

Have to say it was one of the better TG shows of recent years for me.

But I'm glad I wasn't one of the "Joe Public" drivers being held up on the autostrada behind 3 danglers in red cars blocking the whole road whilst being filmed. ;) ;) ;):d :d :d

Right, so Westfield to Stoneleigh convoys have never for instance taken up all three lanes of the M6 while driving sedately under bridges to have their group photos taken?:suspect::oops: Or travelled in multi car convoys on so called blats?

While some of us on here won't have I'm sure, that does seem just a whisper of a hypocritical comment given the nature of the club in general ;):d

Only caught the final section at Imola but I did wonder if the TG team did all the driving and posted those times. These cars will be difficult to drive that quick. JC's put on some pounds - maybe he's given up smoking.

Talking about costs for Supercars, I was chatting to an Aston Martin dealer at rugby on Saturday, he told me about the Bwanker who'd brought in his three year old DBS for which he paid £175k to part exchange it for a new one. The car had 1274 miles on the odometer!

They gave him £90k so the car cost him £3,924.65 £66.72 per mile in depreciation

ok so I'm tired

Why do people buy these cars to not use them  seems so utterly pointless to me,,,, 1274 miles in 3 years = a drive round town just to show off what a small willie you have every now and then :d

Once again ;) thin ice in a club like this... If you can afford it why not. If you can afford an Aston like that it may be your second, third or fourth car.

It's not the mileage, it's how you do them, and how much you enjoy them. :d
