I just need to get the car MOTd next week, then get the old cylinder head rebuilt and fitted and then I should be good to go Hopefully get the head in to JEM in the next week or so.

I am definitely up for it as its really needing done since I fitted the new engine. Its running rough and the ignition timing is way out.

However I cant commit 100% until we have a couple of dates, as I play in a band and can be all over the country and may not be able to make it as a result. If there was a couple of suggested dates which were OK with Sytech then I could give a definite yes or no.

Sorry to be a pest.

Shouldnt take me too long now though to get it back on the road.. hes says with best intentions lol

Will have my new verniers and pulleys fitted for the dyno day so looking forward to see what it does.

As Bombero pointed out, I want more than 3 people that are definitely going to commit to Saturady 2nd June before I go back to SiTech.

Happy to organise it but am not prepared to arrange a 'day' unless there are enough takers. This has been out there for a wee while now, so I'll see who else comes back to me over the weekend, then decide whether this is a goer or not.

For 3 or 4 it's not worth it but that doesn't stop individuals booking something directly with SiTech - that's what I did originally and had a great 3 hours of Simon's time on the dyno. Wasn't that expensive either and he'll do evenings too.

So, to date we have:

Bombero

Jumpy07

Nicks100

Frag68 (maybe)

If we don't get enough, no worries. I'll just tell SiTech that folks will make their own appointments.

Cheers,

Matt

If its Saturday 2nd June, then I will need to check with work, as that would appear to be the jubilee weekend, and if Aviva are giving us staff the extra day bank holiday on the Monday, I will probably be going to our holiday lodge at Kirkcudbright for the weekend. Bit too long to drive from one side of the country to the other.

I will post for definite Monday or Tuesday.

That was why I was asking for a date before committing 100%. I dont like saying I will do something then have to pull out later. Its not fair on the organisers.

Hi all,

As we have no more than 4 committing to a dyno day at the moment, I'm not going to ask SiTech to reserve a day for us. It isn't worth it for such a small number.

I'll let Simon know and if anyone wants to go ahead and book a slot for themselves, it's Simon at info@sitechracing.co.uk or 01383 428 941. Well worth it in my opinion. Website at http://www.sitechracing.co.uk/

Cheers,

Just read your post Matt.

As it happens, that is the weekend we are all heading away so as I thought I wouldnt be able to make it. Shame.

However I will probably give Sitech a shout once I get all the mods done to the car.
