Matt,

You were correct about mine. Nice and simple and no ECU to worry about.

I might me interested in this, don't know what can be done with mine

O/T does anybody know a good place to have my geometry done?

If it's just the wheel alignment and camber at the front once you've done your wishbones, I can show you what to do. I have some DIY guages that work well enough to get it useable. All you need is a fairly flat floor to work on.

Get in touch if you want to give it a try.

Folks - can those of you who have expressed an interest in this give me your engine spec & ECU details (if you have one - an ECU that is, not an engine!). I'll then speak to SiTech and make sure they can accomodate everyone's cars before looking at dates.

So far (from memory) I have:

GreigM - Megabusa/Powercommander

Bombero - 2.0ltr Zetec / Emerald K6U

Nicks100 - ?

Frag68 - Pinto/?

Jumpy - ST170/?

Doug D - Zetec/?

MattA - Duratec / Omex600

Cheers, Matt

That's me confirmed my spec. ;)

I'm a 2.0 Zetec with omex 600, but it will of course depend on when the day is and if I'm on the road and run in.

Matt

Ok, spoke to Simon and he needs about 3 weeks notice to clear a day - he'll do either Saturday or Sunday.

I've said we'd want a weekend and not before May (to make sure no one's car is still on SORN, or, in Doug's case, not finished). He's fine with the car specs advised so far.

Price per car will be £45 for less than 12 cars, or £35 for more than 12. Either power runs or diagnostic. Two runs per car, plus printout.

He'll supply BBQ & tea urn and I'll supply the burgers etc.

I'll check the dates we already have in the diary with wee dov but do folks have any preferences (or weekends/dates to avoid).

My thoughts would be fairly soon after Easter and before 'the big one' to Applecross, to hopefully help folks get cars fettled for the summer but suggestions are welcome.

Just a reminder, SiTech are based in Rosyth Business Park, just along from the Forth bridge.

Cheers,

Matt

Thanks very much for the offer on that. I may take you up on it.

I shall come along to the R-R and may even have a power run done. Does anybody have a list of the confirmed dates we set?

Can I suggest to those wishing to just pop along on the day first, before deciding if they're going on the dyno to still let Matt know your engine/ecu spec, simply to give Simon the heads up in advance of the day.

Also everyone, let's see if we can boost (pun) the numbers to get (a) a good deal on the day and (b) the more the merrier at the BBQ! :d
