Westfields in Wales

I've been made aware of a series of organised tours throughout Wales this year. I have no connection with the company and I have no idea how good the craic is (or whatever the Welsh equivalent of "craic" is), but I thought I'd let you guys know.

The collective name of the tours is "Trans-Cymru Classic Events". I've checked their definition of "Classic" and although they prefer pre-1982 cars, any Lotus 7 types will be most welcome (they mentioned they'd had a couple before). However, anybody planning to take their 2002 repmobile would probably be turned away (or have to skulk at the back, coincidentally turning up at every waypoint   ).

Here's their itinerary this year (I think the single dates are start dates): -

30/3 - Easter Tour

20 & 21/4 - Grand figure-of-8 tour

19/5 - Lakes and Mountains tour

2 - 9/6 - Wild West of Ireland tour

6 & 7/7 - Tour of Snowdonia

11/8 - Forest of Dean & Wye Valley

31/8 - 1/9 - Trans-Cymru Classic

1/11 - 4/11 - The Welsh Challenge

8/12 - Christmas Tour
