Blatman
Cool. I'll be at Le Mans as usual, with a spare space in the tent (just in case, OK?), access to some showers, a hooooooge TV (yeah, you know the score.....), and MG pit passes, hopefully.....but don't tell anyone....... Daytona is likely to be a bit last minute, but I'll keep you informed. There is a slim chance of pit passes there too..........
mikehreynolds
was thinkin bout going to le man next year, is it a good laugh, and how much does it cost (roughly). Does the club organise a trip kinda thing or is it up to word of mouth etc??
Nick M
Mike, In reverse order.... - generally word of mouth, although the chances are there's someone else within your area group who's going. Just ask the AO and see if they know anything - cost - as much or as little as you want !! But work on the basis of : Ferry / tunnel (Dover / Calais or other short route) - GBP100-150 Entry tickets - GBP40 Parking ticket (if needed) - GBP20 Camping (not at the circuit) - GBP10 Camping (at the circuit) - you're probably too late, but around GBP30-40 Fuel - how heavy's your right foot ??!! Beer - how thirsty are you ? Food - errr, well, the hot dogs, etc. are cheap enough..... - If you go with another group of Westfield owners it will be a great weekend. In fact, it would be good even if you went on your own but it's always nice if there's someone who knows the ropes and can point newbies in the right direction. The circuit is huge so knowing where to watch and, more importantly, how to get there is quite important. Hope that helps
westy
Little tip........we know you're asking of your bum looks big 'cos you think you've got a fat A***. If you think it, who are we to contradict........ I think Mrs Westy's signature is meant to be a joke, because her bum could not be described as big by any stretch of the imagination and she does not ask me such silly questions
westy
another tip, never leave your laptop logged in and on the lounge coffee table
mikehreynolds
Cheers Nick, might consider going next year then although some of the costs (beer mainly) will be high going from current experience (student!! : ) Mike

westy
Do you like what I've done with Westy's avatar. After yesterday, you'd have thought he'd have learnt about leaving himself logged in, wouldn't you Mrs W
Si Stocks
Little tip........we know you're asking of your bum looks big 'cos you think you've got a fat A***. If you think it, who are we to contradict........ Whilst old and much used, my personal favourite is: "Does this skirt make my bum look big" "Of course not dear...............it's all the chocolate and ice cream that makes your bum look big..."
