nearly done Posted December 28, 2011 Posted December 28, 2011 Dont know if I am turning into a boring, miserable old git suffering a sense of humour failure but i`ve just turned this pile of sh**e off. Been done to death and not especially funny. Pi***s me off that our license fee goes on this dross yet they cant afford the F1. Rant over watching country file Quote
GreigM Posted December 28, 2011 Posted December 28, 2011 I agree, this is rubbish - not enough of the roadtrip, just a load of s**t about a train journey and a garden party..... Quote
greenandmean Posted December 28, 2011 Posted December 28, 2011 Take 3 perfectly good cars, f**k them up without really trying and call it entertainment. After the Vietnam trip I thought it might be worth watching, boy was I wrong. 3 tw**s having fun at our expense, reminded me why I stopped watching this dross, wish I had avoided the temptation to watch tonight. chazpowerslide Posted December 28, 2011 Posted December 28, 2011 Pretty p****d off they f****d up a perfectly good classic Mini I remember when the scrappies were full of them you could strip for bits, now really basic examples are well over 2K............ I think I laughed twice............................... I used to be a TG fan but I really think it's time they canned it now. Done to death and not funny now.................. Chaz Quote
Ian Podmore Posted December 28, 2011 Posted December 28, 2011 I'm a fan of TG, but that was not a classic that will be worth watching again. Quote
Rusty Nuts Posted December 28, 2011 Posted December 28, 2011 1st Cheetah (or some impersonator) now TG's crap episode from India I am twice as sad, as I was excited about the Indian episode. Quote
flash1 Posted December 28, 2011 Posted December 28, 2011 I don't know each to their own i suppose, but i quite liked it, quite a few bits made me laugh. Quote
Stuart Posted December 28, 2011 Posted December 28, 2011 Agree with you Mr. Flash. Formulaic indeed but several guffaw moments so well worth it for me. You'll miss it when it's gone and all that's left is 5th Gear guys. Quote
JeffC Posted December 28, 2011 Posted December 28, 2011 was a sack of s***e as usual its all scripted and staged but trouble is none of them can act to pull it off , stuff like wasnt it a stroke of luck that when the stuff fell off the mini roof that the camera man was on the other side of the road to film it, the banners on the train saw that coming soon as they put them up , trouble is when you see stuff like that it takes away any credibilty when they do car reviews. im with with the grumpy old gits Quote
SteveD Posted December 28, 2011 Posted December 28, 2011 your forgetting its about entertainment ,its not a car review programe anymore and has not been for a long time ,its entertainment , no one would watch a car review programe ,that would be real s***e Quote
Rusty Nuts Posted December 28, 2011 Posted December 28, 2011 It's a programme with blokes like your mates trying to do comedy after a few pints, not too good but quite annoying leave the comedy to the comics. It seems like the same thing in a different country. The only bit I liked was David Cameron telling them off. Quote
jeff oakley Posted December 28, 2011 Posted December 28, 2011 I also was very disapointed with it. yes there was some funny moments but overall it was a waste of time and money going there. what it did do was reinforce my opinion after that party, seeing the wealth that was on display with high end cars, that India no longer needs handouts from us, they need to spread the wealth, cut out corruption and look after their own people.
