SteveD Posted December 9, 2011 Share Posted December 9, 2011 have some nice alloy belled ap discs for the rear of my elige ,but they had been standing for a while on a car ,and were rusty ,not mega rusty but bad enough ,i was not quite sure if i had dreamed it or not ,im sure i have heard of vinager being a cleaner so i emersed em in a gallon of the chipy's finest and wow there like new , i have allways used a alloy cleaner i get from a local chemical company but wont be waisting £30 on 5 gallon of acid when 69p bought me gallons of vinager Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

lippydave Posted December 9, 2011 Share Posted December 9, 2011 White (distilled) vinegar is a good cleaning agent, particularly useful for removing sticker residue from panels etc...
