have some nice alloy belled ap discs for the rear of my elige ,but they had been standing for a while on a car ,and were rusty ,not mega rusty but bad enough ,i was not quite sure if i had dreamed it or not ,im sure i have heard of vinager being a cleaner so i emersed em in a gallon of the chipy's finest and wow there like new , i have allways used a alloy cleaner i get from a local chemical company but wont be waisting £30 on 5 gallon of acid when 69p bought me gallons of vinager

White (distilled) vinegar is a good cleaning agent, particularly useful for removing sticker residue from panels etc... Can get it from most supermarkets...

Doesn't have quite the same chippy smell either... :D

put em in it last night in the garage and forgot about em ,went in the garage tonight and instantly felt hungry  :D

Well done wuv. I think Windy gave us the tip and he invested in a cat litter tray as well for the purpose. Hmmm - chips  :love:
