thos
I've gone a bought a new Momo steering wheel, thinking that it would just bolt on. But it doesnt. The Momo wheel has 6 hole in it, so does my current steering wheel (Westfield wheel) but the Westfield 6 holes are a bigger PCD. Can anyone tell me what sort of boss I need to buy to make it fit ? Obviously I should have checked all this first, but I saw 6 bolts and the Momo had six holes so I just figured it would fit. Any help would be appreciated, Thanks, Tom
felters
Tom - if the wheel is already predrilled then it would probably need to be a Momo boss - DT's proably have them. If you're going down the QR route then Racetech do some that might fit. You'll need to do a bit of welding though.
thos
Demon Tweeks have Momo Boss Kits listed, but they need to indentify the car. I've got an SEiW so is that a Sierra steering column ? Will a Boss to suit a Sierra do the job ?
the bear
My SEIW has an Astrali boss that Astrali identify as fitting an Allegro/Metro column. Midland Wheel Supplies do an adaptor @ £12.95 that adapts the Astrali/Fitting to I quote "most steering wheels on the market today" It is simply a polished alloy ring with studs to fit the Astrali boss and a series of holes. I have not bought one yet, but I am guessing that they have designed it to fit Momo as they are one of the biggest replacement wheel companies. www.midlandwheels.comClick here
