lippydave Posted September 3, 2011 Author Posted September 3, 2011 http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_1H-ny1....ler.jpg Translates as... "Was Hitler Gay? Can't be, his alsatian was a b***h..." Are you contending that the Evora is a bit of a dog Sonia? Quote
SteveD Posted September 3, 2011 Posted September 3, 2011 i have driven the evora and it is a very nice car and lotus have been very very clever with marketing the evora ,it has popped up in a lot of tv series and soaps and on quite a few adverts (nothing to do with cars) which i think is a bit of genious ,waiting for the hot version to drive that Quote
Danp07 Posted September 3, 2011 Posted September 3, 2011 I'll bet its fantastic round the "ring" Quote
Vinny's Westie Posted September 3, 2011 Posted September 3, 2011 I'll bet its fantastic round the "ring" Maybe a few 'brown trouser' moments though Quote
Lurksalot Posted September 4, 2011 Posted September 4, 2011 Personally not a great Freddie fan , nor Queen as a band , I do hate marketing .....find a popular tag and exploit it , the product is irrelavent, but the marketing is all . My respect goes to John Deacon , the team player , bassist , wrote some of the hits that really brought Queen to the big money . When mercury died , Deacon bowed out , end of a chapter , while some others wanted or neeeded to milk it , Deacon saw it as a natural end . Takes a cool dude to say thanks for the memories but no to the cashing in Quote
jerryhzx12 Posted September 4, 2011 Posted September 4, 2011 Hope those brake lights work well - otherwise you may be in danger of getting shunted from behind.... Quote
rocket_rabbit Posted September 4, 2011 Posted September 4, 2011 Massive respect for Queen, Freddie, Brian etc. However, this is pure marketing hash. Quote
SteveD Posted September 6, 2011 Posted September 6, 2011 freddie would have been 65 today if he was still with us makes a bit more sense now eh ! Quote
Cleggy the Spyder Man Posted September 6, 2011 Posted September 6, 2011 I would imagine he would be rolling on his grave rock and rolling maybe Quote
lippydave Posted September 6, 2011 Author Posted September 6, 2011 freddie would have been 65 today if he was still with us makes a bit more sense now eh ! Oh (slaps forehead in amazement!), of course, now I get it. Because it's the imaginary birthday of a dead gay singer with no previous association to Lotus or indeed profound love of driving, well that makes much more sense..... It's now a Lotus edition named after a pensionable aged dead ****.... Perfect marketing sense eh? Quote
Liam Posted September 6, 2011 Posted September 6, 2011 Well, one things clear, you wouldn't get a fat bottomed girl in one of those seats Quote

peterg Posted September 6, 2011 Posted September 6, 2011 QUOTE with no previous association to Lotus or indeed profound love of driving I seem to remember Freddie couldn't drive and never even held a licence.... bet he was an ardent back seat driver though Quote
