Tony B
Seen a few phots of BEC's with stainless sytems on, mine has a custom built 4-1 system with a mechanical flap in, not being a Biker or technical Im not sure exactly what this is for and whether its necessary, this has a direct affect on what system I buy to get it svad... Alternatively I may just chop the back box off and stick a sports cat/silencer in... Tony..
DodgeT
as a guess, id reckon its something to do with the exup valve..
hogman
If its a Yamaha engine then probably the Exup valve, if not Yamaha then would hazard a guess as a Catalytic converter? Cheers Kevin
Tony B
Hogman, it is an R1, the same as yours I believe, how did you get yours through SVA?
gee_fin
You can dump the EXUP on car installations and install a simple box of electricery so that the engine still thinks it's there. There are some diagrams hidden away on the bike-engined group somewhere if you're PCBminded, otherwise, I believe Cliff might be selling some. Graeme. Tony B
Looks like I may have to replace the whole system anyway for SVA, both noise and emissions, did a basic noise test last night up to around 7000 rpm and its 104db, currently no CAT or Lambda. How do I get hold of Cliff and wheres the best place down south to get a zorst and CAT built/fitted. TIA Tony
