i am thinking about changing the interior of my 1991 narrow body and one of the possibilities would be to fit high back bucket seats but i have to admit when looking at the space available it does not look possible.

can anybody help with contacts for a supplier of these and even better does anybody have any piccies of one that has already been done .

thanks

Fit Westfield "race" seats. They're well comfortable, and WILL fit with no problems at all.

They ain't cheap though, BUT, they are a fit and forget solution.......

Cheaper alternatives include the "Cobra Roadster 7" seat (I think...), The Richfield RX777, and Intatrim Rangers.

Check the Europa Spares site for ideas.....

Race seats in vinyl trim = over £200 each

Sports seat vinyl  = over £230

Sorry, that the best I could find as my price list is well out of date (Oct 2002)  :)

other option is to make your own.  i made one out of two part foam which fits my  :arse: perfectly, holds me really secure (ooh err missus - need an emoticon for that one i think) and is really comfy.  i do a reasonable mileage in mine (aboout 7-10k/yr) and found this seat great.  and it cost about a tenner for the foam and about a fiver for the duct tape to cover it.
