XTR2Turbo Posted August 25, 2011 Posted August 25, 2011 1.6 tons apparently. unbraked towing 750kg, braked towing 2000kg according to parkers. There's also a full post-detail album here if it helps whet anyone's appetite Be careful to check the price of the official BMW tow kit. I know on the X5 it is over £2k because they uprate the gearbox cooling also. David
minisweeper Posted August 25, 2011 Author Posted August 25, 2011 I never said it'd be an official one! To be honest though with the way the used car market seems to be going...
minisweeper Posted September 19, 2011 Author Posted September 19, 2011 Now with new brake pads & wear sensors all round! Price open to reasonable negotiations...
minisweeper Posted September 25, 2011 Author Posted September 25, 2011 Nope, still waiting for a deserving new home! Are you interested?
V8grunt Posted September 26, 2011 Posted September 26, 2011 Extremely!!!! But in the current economic conditions my heart is saying no. Still got 2 years to go on my new Kia before I change... Can you keep it for 2 more years?
minisweeper Posted September 26, 2011 Author Posted September 26, 2011 As long as you contract to buy it at today's price I'll keep it as long as you want!
minisweeper Posted October 2, 2011 Author Posted October 2, 2011 Well after a boozey weekend at home I cut a deal with my maserati owning partner to put this in his hands and alleviate the maserati from them (which is still up for sale...) so this is no longer available. However - to those of you who have expressed an interest for some time in the future - feel free to get in touch when you're looking at the market as my friend is likely to be moving it on at some point (well that's his plan, I'm pretty sure he'll fall in love and won't want to!)
