aliperry
Westfield SEi rolling motorsport chassis. Ex hillclimb/sprint car in modified production class. Well known mulitple winning championsip car in the South West. Many years of development has gone into this car to make it what it is today. Very light and a fantastic handling chassis. The car was fitted with a 1.6 16v Corsa Ecotec engine which was incorporated into the chassis using solid engine mounts and mounted to the chassis via top and bottom off bellhousing. The chassis will take any engine, XE/Duratec/Bike e.t.c. Chassis/Suspension: Chassis re-designed by Alan Stanleyforth and re-engineered by Dave Whitehead e.g. shock pickup points, rack mounting points and wishbone mounting points (front and back). Bump steer completely erased, rosejointed top wishbones. Quick rack with rose jointed track rod ends. Pro-tech alloy shocks 1.9 adjustable pan and damping front and rear. Front adjustable rose jointed anti-roll bar. Alloy front hubs. Brakes: Adjustable floor mounted pedal box. Braided hoses front and rear. Large AP 4pot calipers at the front with grooved solid discs, rear is fitted with AP twin pot calipers with grooved solid discs and bells. Line lock is fitted and is used as handbrake. Drivetrain: Comes with Westfield's own alloy diff case and has re-engineered driveshafts with larger UJ's fitted for extra strength. Diff case takes English/Salisbury differentials although no diff is included. Body: Lightweight front mudguards, extra wide rear mudguards which I have mould for these. Takes 8 inch front and 10 inch rears. Rolling on a set of 7inch super lights fitted with Avon wets. Westfield race wing. New nosecone is fitted and will need painting. Other: Car comes with lightweight fibreglass race seat, Willans 3inch 5 point harness and RAC approved roll cage. Lightweight alloy radiator and fan. Custom made race loom. Car has been in dry storage for the past 3 years so may need checking over before being put back on the track. More photos available on request. £3,995.
