Just seen this thread and I expect its my be about the V8 my father once owned in 2009, the black one in the photo. He bought it from Maltons, had it for a few months a gave back to them for a full refund. It was nearly undriveable and my dad was the Welsh road rally champion in 74 and stage rally champion in 75. 
 

The car was a b*****r to start and the last straw was when it broke down when we were on the way to a track day at Ty Croes. Perhaps it was a blessing as it was a wet day. 
 

It had all the bits and looked great but if it’s unreliable and not great on the road then not the best. 

My yellow 2.0 Zetec is tame by comparison but at least I’ve had 9k miles of fun in it over 2 years.

 

I wonder where the car is now? Q675 RDS SORN , Mot ran out 9th Oct 2018

Maybe broken up for spares, if the components were worth more than the whole?

No idea about the car, mind you, just speculating, as it hasn't been MOT'd for the last 4 years or so.

Last picture from the internet in 2018 with new seats. I believe it went to Ireland the came back to the south of England.
