RichP Posted May 18, 2011 Author Posted May 18, 2011 Hi all I've run Norton tools which found and sorted a couple of issues. Spybot found loads and sorted them. The disk scan at startup seems to have gone away as a result - reboot happens normally. I'm not sure how to tell if all is now ok, but as far as I can see everything is back to normal. If there's no way of checking for sure that all bugs are gone, I must assume it's fixed Many thanks for everyone's advice and guidance - much appreciated. Rich Quote
