The car is booked in to Procomp in the first week in June to have all new rear bushes and new Protech shocks and springs fitted as well as all the geo set up, it will be sold with 12 months MOT and 6 months tax. It's a very very quick and well sorted car with many new parts. Reluctantly selling as a property I want is coming up for sale soon nearby and I need some cash.

Maybe a daft question, but looking at the engine spec, I would have thought that you would be pulling much more power???

Or was the power you quoted at the wheels?

I would say 230 is about right TBH

It was only mapped upto 8300, I reckon it could easily rev to 8700 maybe more the bhp curve on the graph is still at a 45 degree angle at 8300!

Are the pistons standard bore size? The xe's can run at 270mark,with standard crank.Whats missing to reach these sorts of power, just bigger bore?

Dry sump would be a safe step....

If you end up keeping her for the summer, I'd definately be interested, but not back in country till october time.So looking for a winter project.
