amdaudi
Can anyone please tell me the correct tyre pressure for 185 60's on a Westfield?
adhawkins
I don't think there's a definitive answer really. 'About 18-20' would be my best recommendation (guess? ) Andy
amdaudi
Thanks Andy that does explain quite a lot.
adhawkins
How high were they? Andy
hogman
Really depends on the weight of the car, for instance I ran my SE with Xflow at 17psi cold and now with an R1 run it at 15psi cold cos its alot lighter! I would start around 17 and go from there Cheers Kevin
amdaudi
As high as 28psi! Please forgive me I am very new to this.
gadrego
I run my XFLow with your tyre size at 18psi.
Toby Mack
i have 17.5 all round in my xflow SE. 185.70 rather than 60 though. I've now worn a new set of tyres to about 4mm tread left in about 500 miles. The wear is even across the tread width so I guess that means the pressures must be pretty much spot on. Now all I have to do is work out how to make my tyres last a little longer fwiw I have found that a 1psi change can make a big difference to the feel at least so it is worth experimenting. neilb
Now all I have to do is work out how to make my tyres last a little longer Driving slower round corners, less hard braking, no doughnuts, etc.. Fun = Burnt rubber
