Norman Verona Posted December 2, 2012 Posted December 2, 2012 A NSU RO80 in the West Bromwich area used to have a plate BOL10K years ago! Post number 88 refers to that plate. It was on a old Merc in Chigwell in the late 80's There was a white headed screw at the bottom of the "1" to make it look like an "L". However, one day it had a properly spaced and correctly screwed (is that OK?) rear plate (I never saw the front as it was parked on a drive). I guessed the driver had been stopped and warned/prosecuted for an illegal plate. Quote

Norman Verona Posted December 2, 2012 Posted December 2, 2012 I really won't be bothered at 86, if I get that far. Anyway, I wouldn't have a registration number for my name. The car, yes, but me, no. Quote
