Mark (smokey mow)
They look virtually the same as the Fluke Carbon ones. pics here
Blatman
Yep, same as Caterhams. I have them (Caterham ones) on my car over there... <<<<<<<<< Easily the nicest way to mount the indicators IMHO...
Phoenix
Thanks, do these fit onto standard WF headlight brackets or do they need the caterham brackets?
adam123
QUOTE Thanks, do these fit onto standard WF headlight brackets or do they need the caterham brackets? yes, will fit the wf brackets no problem.
westy turbo
then which indicators u use?
chazpowerslide
I have the Caterham ones on mine. Agreed with Blatters, they look good and you don't have to p**s about with the wiring each time you take the nosecone off as you would if you had the WF ones mounted on the nosecone. Chaz. Doug Dastardly
Anyone know if they're IVA compliant? I'm guessing that if they're fitted to caterhams they must be? Doug
Mark (smokey mow)
Anyone know if they're IVA compliant? I'm guessing that if they're fitted to caterhams they must be? Doug On a Caterham, maybe. But... For IVA you'd need to ensure they meet the angle of visiblity requirements which is determined by a number of factors. The height of the headlamp brackets, their position relative to the front of the nose cone, Front track width and the cycle wings are all different on a Westfield to a Caterham so could influence whether they comply or not. adam123
QUOTE Anyone know if they're IVA compliant no, they wont pass sva with them. not sure about iva but guessing it will be the same.
Doug Dastardly
Thanks for the replys. That's a bit of a shame, because I liked the look of them. I think that I'd rather stick with the WF ones than have holes in my nose, on the whole. Doug
westy turbo
any ideas where to get the actual indicators?
Mark (smokey mow)
any ideas where to get the actual indicators? Standard Westfield Indicators are IIRC from Landrover Defender and probably a lot of earlier BL cars.
