Bob Green Posted November 5, 2010 Posted November 5, 2010 OK, it's official - I'm now old Working in the garage last night, I needed to attack something with the angle grinder. As I needed to get close I had to take my glasses off, because correcting my distance vision now means I can't see stuff up close with my glasses on!! As I was using the angle grinder I shoved on my protective goggles, to protect my, less than perfect eyes. When I'd finished generating sparks I took off my goggles but couldn't find my f**king glasses I spent 20 minutes stumbling round my Westy-filled miniscule garage searching through an out of focus haze trying to find the stupid things (no they weren't on the top of my head ) Eventually I gave up and had to call the wife out to help me find them! Suffice to say that, despite me telling her not to laugh, as I wouldn't find it funny, she chuckled merrily when she found them on the floor right next to where I was standing About now I really regret taking the P**s out of all those old boys I used to work with who had the same problem Getting old sucks Been there, done that! WSCC actually stands for Westfield and Stanna Chairlift Club Sounds like most of the club spend more money on pills and health aids than they do on high octane fuel Quote
