davew Posted February 20, 2003 Share Posted February 20, 2003 I have obtained a rear axle assembly from an xr4x4, which parts are reuseable. It is a 3.62 LSD which is is good condition, just needs shot blasting and coating and the callipers also seem pretty reasonable. Can I use the outer stub shafts, I test fitted them and they seem about right. What about the cv joints these also seem ok but could do with some new boots. Any advice greatly appreciated. Guest Posted February 20, 2003 Share Posted February 20, 2003 I also got a rear beam axle and used the diff, outer shafts, calipers, torx bolts (cheap skate) and lobros, though I bought four gaitor kits from Westfield.
