Westfield SE, 1990, 1800 Zetec, Throttle bodies, 170bhp,

Narrow body, Oxford Blue gelcoat, age related ‘H’ registration.

MOT until end of June 2011 and Tax until end Sept 2010.

Owned by me since 2003 with lots of changes and upgrades made during this period, including the engine swap from a Crossflow in 2005, leading to the following high level of spec:

1800 Zetec engine producing approx 170bhp, only done around 10000 miles from new

Scholar gas flowed head with Kent FZ1802 Camshafts and vernier pulleys

ARP bottom end bolts

ST170 Inlet manifold & injectors

GSXR750 Throttle-bodies

ITG Air filter

Dunnell baffled sump

Westfield stainless exhaust manifold

Re-packable silencer

1ltr alloy oil catch tank

Lightweight alternator

Lightweight VW POLO Radiator

Lightweight gel battery

Megasquirt engine management, fully re-programmable

Type 9 Gearbox

Gearbox "Quickshift" extension

AVO shock absorbers

Adjustable front anti-roll bar

13” Minilite wheels with sticky Toyo 888 tyres

Lightweight fibreglass seats

4 point Willans harnesses

MSA compliant (RAC type) roll over bar

Playskool Aero-screen

FIA ignition cut-off switch

MOMO removable steering wheel

MOMO Gear knob

Mintex M1144 front brake pads

Custom made boot box

Huge file of paperwork including receipts, MOT’s and build information.

The bodywork does have some signs of age in certain areas, mainly on the bonnet where there are some stress cracks. The bonnet could easily be replaced as these are still available from Westfield. I have focused more on the mechanical development of the car rather than making a show car and it has been built to drive! The car has been a pleasure to own and develop. It has been ultra reliable, competitive and great fun. It will suit anyone wanting to get into track days, sprinting, hillclimbs or just fast road driving!

Price: £5750 for quick sale.

I can vouch for this car. It IS reliable and quick. For less than 6000 spondoolies, it is a good value.

Shame Chris but I hear you have a new project.....
