Guest
Hello, I'm fitting the bodywork but still haven't got the rollover bar (I am going to get the Westfield bar) The problem is that there are 3 holes in the metal chassis mounting and I understand that the bar only has one bolt. Question is: which hole do I drill through? Or, do I actually have to drill a new hole through the metal plate? Thanks, - Dan.
hilux
westfield bar = 1 bolt Rac bar = 3 bolts Wait until the bar arrives Hilux
Mark Stanton
Don't drill until you have your bar in your hands Don't even borrow someone elses Whatever spec bar you go for
steppenwolf
If you are getting the standard Westfield bar, it uses NONE of the holes already punched in the mounting plate - you have to drill your own 13mm hole to match the bar. As Mark says, it would be more than prudent to wait for your own bar to arrive before drilling as you really do need to get these two holes perfectly right first time! Guest
Thanks all, I suspected this might be the case after seeing the Cortina uprights/cycle wing brackets duo - Dan.
