Just trying to ascertain if the poly spacer should be completely flush with the bottom of the rack.... if so how did you get it on that far. Linds Posted January 5, 2003 Share Posted January 5, 2003 What problems have you got then? Poly spacers fit flush with the bottom of the ally bracket, underneath the rack. Make sure the right size of spacer is used, and you are not trapping any part of the spacer between the ally braket and the chassis. When i fitted mine I noticed the left hand end of the rack was able to move up and down slightly within the bracket (when fully tightened up) so i put a thin aluminium shim in to take up the play.
