As the name suggests, it is a Quadraphonic receiver and quite frankly, the sound quality knocks modern receivers into a cocked hat. I did use Celestion 66 speakers (front) and Celestion 44 speakers (rear) with a Teac A-3340 4 channel reel to reel tape recorder. The sound was amazing to say the least. I have shamelessly stolen this from E-Bay because I can’t be arsed to take images but gives you an idea of what it’s like. Please note the slider controls are black and it does come with the correct power lead plus US plugs for the switched and un-switched power outlets. If you love proper Hi-Fi, you will love this.
