nik9669 Posted July 7, 2010 Posted July 7, 2010 It's my wife's 50th birthday on Saturday. For some reason, she threw heavy objects at me when I suggested a long weekend together, at Silverstone watching practice, qualifyling AND the race as part of her present. She was even less amused when I offered her a weekend not in my company, so I guess she still likes me a little bit! Quote

I also stripped an old 2 stroke jobby that was Kaput years ago and got it working , so no sweat I now have a spare that you can use if you need to Quote

Lurksalot Posted July 12, 2010 Posted July 12, 2010 It was great catching up with a few of you , and thanks to Paul ( and Margeret) for the feeding and watering a couple of shots of the days action Some were through the wire but came out OK Quote
Paul Hurdsfield - Joint Manchester AO Posted July 16, 2010 Author Posted July 16, 2010 Well I finally got back from Silverstone......traffic was horrendous Met up with young Kev (Lurksalot) thanks for the use of the genny Cam was just along from us on the campsite. Also met Liam on Friday at Club, then met Scott prelit at Becketts on Saturday, Glen H on Saturday night...it was allmost like a WSCC meeting Silverstone have done a fantastic job with the new layout, some great new corners to spectate from, next year should be even better when all the work is complete After the GP we moved on to Clumber park Caravan club site for a bit of r+r I'm now getting blamed for Margarets cut knee and bruised shoulder, I mean a 57 year old woman bombing round forest tracks on a mountain bike, trying to be like Ari Vatanen, it was bound to end in tears, and apparently it was all my fault When I've sorted through my pics I'll post some up. Quote
pistonbroke Posted July 16, 2010 Posted July 16, 2010 Good to here Margaret has fully recovered from her recent spell of hospitalisation , though it sounds like she is trying her best to get back there Living with you can't be all that bad surely Quote
