Thanks.

Car has done 5900 miles since reg in October 06 so mostly as new condition. Quite chuffed with it.

What model is that? And did you know your rear suspension has callapsed!

Mine is a 230E. Needs a bit of work to bring it up to a useable classic.

Nice to know someone on here also has taste.

First impressions on driving it is how huge the steering wheel is after the Westy  :0

It is a smidge too big.

If you want it to handle properly, go and get the Eibach lowering springs fitted (as bonus, you lose the comedy off-roader look) and the geometry setup.  Else keep yours eyes on the nearest ditch when pushing on!  Oh and turn the DSC off, it does weird stuff.

Great all-round usable car though.

Looks good Kerry. Wife had a mk2 - was fantastic, even with the weedy 1.6 engine. The handling was fantastic, but you'll miss all the wind turbulence from the Westie.

At least your hair won't get so ruffled now. :p  ducks for cover.

I got in one in the Canaries some years back, showing 970,000 clicks on the odo...
