looks dry first thing then rain by 1pm according to BBC weather

let's go for it unless it is p*****g down in the morning    although I fear we perhaps wont see too much of the show

the heavens have just opened up in wonderful Peterborough - looks like I will be coming back for the car tonight or very early in the morning

says it is grey cloud on the website right now but it is tipping it down    we're screwed  

the Stamford show coincides with the Alconbury day I have just realised

I have an alternative shorter route planned if it looks imminent. that will give us a bit more time tyre kicking before we depart the show. If its lashing down my mum will send a note.
