blakeya
Just had a Narrow Body Westfield fail IVA due to not having a collapsible steering column. It is fitted with a Wesfield Approved steering wheel & Boss but this was not sufficient. Does anybody have, or can tell me which column i can use to pass the test?? I'm unsure if the Wide body column will fit the narrow body chassis. Help much appreciated. AndyB
Hammy
Not much hlep I'm afraid, but a post in tech talk might get a better repsonse. If it were me I'd get a look at the wide body collapsible column and see if the collapsible element could be fitted into your narrow column or the wide body unit modified to fit -e.g it might need shortening and/or the wide body outer column tube piece fitting. Getting in touch with factory might help you see and measure said parts up and find a way forward. I'm not sure narrow cars ever had a collapsible column
