zvezdochka Posted September 13, 2002 Share Posted September 13, 2002 Just started to fit the suspension arms, the gap in the mounting is not big enough, do I remove powder coat, bend brackets, is this normal? also front top arms are handed, does short side face front or back? steppenwolf Posted September 13, 2002 Share Posted September 13, 2002 Yes you have to remove the powder coating from the holes on the brackets for the bolts to go through ( this got me going too as it was the very first thing I fitted!! ) but the washers go on the OUTSIDE of the brackets, so the brackets on your car are ok and will clamp down on the bushes correctly.
