DodgeT
Was at trax today & saw a yellow westy with large "WESTFIELD" + westfield symbol on both sides of car & it looked good. Spoke to some of the decal guys there & they said if i can get them a pic on e-mail they will make me some! Has anyone got any westfield logos/badges/westfield style text on file as you could e-mail to me??
Blatman
Can I suggest that you ask the factory first. I'm pretty sure thay have copyrighted the "Sunburst" logo, which means copying it may be a no no. Of course, I could be wrong, but it must be worth a courtesy phone call to check.......... westy
Im also on the look out for something to do with the back of my car as it looks a little plain... Graphics ideas are welcome but no porn please
Mark Stanton
Tim Tryon of Signnature a club sponsor - see Speed Series page for contacts can supply a club logo that fits perfectly into your spare wheel spot in loads of colours - I got one Factory logo is copyrighted by them and you must have permission to use it. The club logo is copyrighted to the WSCC and can be used by members for non-commercial purposes

Mickie C
Jumping on the bandwagon here! Just called Sign Nature, £25 for the club logo for the back of the car in the spare wheel gap. Does anyone have a picture of a car with the logo in place? My car is 10 years old therefore the fibreglass behind the spare wheel doesn't want to clean up to well and I'm worried that the sticker might not cover up the mess! Mark Stanton
The club logo does cover the spare wheel area very well - my 1989 tub had a few marks which were covered up quite well , I don't have a piccie of though sorry
samcooke
Factory logo is copyrighted by them and you must have permission to use it Copyrighted or Trademarked? There are different implications. You can't "get something copyrighted" but you can register a device like the westfiled roundel thing as a trademark. Is there an intellectual property lawyer in the house?
samcooke
Oh, and in the nicest possible way: the club logo's a bit tacky, dontcha think?
Blatman
Your the second person to say that within "earshot" so to speak..............I quite like the logo myself. What would you change it to?
samcooke
Something a bit sexier, bit more modern, bit less... I dunno... ...gay? I'm no deisgner but praps a general style more like: (and that's my copyright btw )
Blatman
Nope.......still prefer "The Bomber"..........
Mark Stanton
Yuk - rather stick with other one The WSCC carried out a survey a few moons ago and the logo was voted as o.k It's main benefit is that it doesn't look like other sevenesque club logo's
samcooke
Rats. Cut down so early on in my career as logo drawing chap. Now the world will never see my idea for the new ceebeebies logo. It's main benefit is that it doesn't look like other sevenesque club logo's Not a great reason to keep something. eg "I'll keep my daihatsu grand move cos it doesn't look like a 250GTO" I reckon more people would have the wscc logo slapped on their motors if it was in keeping with the sexy carbon and black trimmed racecar look that is in right now. That's all. Right then, what's next on my possible careers list: Porn star - nope Racing car driver - nope Motoring journalist - nope Extreme sports hero - nope Chocolate factory quality control tester - nope Logo drawer - nope Man ****** Man ****** it is then.
