gregh
In a bit of a dilemma at the moment around my wheels/tyres and sump, so wanted to know what the 32rs are like in the damp/wet. They are on the car I bought so considering either getting a decent sump and keeping the 32s or getting some other tyres. cheers, greg
Carl
Greg, 32R's in very wet conditions (standing water) are scary. In warm damp conditions they have suprisingly good grip and are progressive near the limit. In cold damp conditions they are dangerous and crap. In the dry they are superb. juansolo
32R's are bad in the wet (21R's are much better). However I strongly recommend against using them on track period 'till you sort your sump out. At least get youself a Dunnell/Raceline jobbie if you're going to use them. Ideally you should be looking to dry sump it.
gregh
Options are Raceline sump (which some say is as good as a dry sump) and keep the 32s or get some other tyres. Greg
Bananaman
Keep the Tyres, when do you go driving when its Cold & Wet? especially if you are going on the track. However you are right get a decent baffled sump or drysump system, if you intend doing serious track work. If you are planning driving in the wet then can i have your tyres Andy

gregh
Mossman, £359 dunnel and Westfield ones are cheaper, but I have heard they aren't as good quality and people have seen leaks. All info here, Raceline Sumps

Bananaman
I fitted a Dunel one recently but this raceline one looks altogether a better product, if expensive. I guess you gets what you pays for.
