Also steering wheel too low, are there any other 6'3" drivers out there with same problem? Am in Norfolk, anyone near by into westies? brianm Posted September 5, 2002 Share Posted September 5, 2002 What year chassis is it? earlier ones had the top mount as a welded mounting, later had a bolt on arrangement. Later type needs spacer and longer bolts to lift column, earlier type is a bit more trouble and requires cutting and rewelding but quite easy. I'm 6'3" and had to mod my older type chassis.
