richard german
Giving my car a service and assumed the books given to me by the previous owner would tell me the correct spark plug gap, but this appears not to be the case. 1700 X-Flow, spark plugs are NGK R, as previously fitted. I have been told the plugs are pre-gapped is this correct. Thanks to Simon Houghton have bracket for three point harness.
stu999
Richard, NGKs are pre-gapped, but not necessarily correctly. For points ignition, 25 thou should be ideal. Are you running any form of electronic ignition? If you are, you can usually get away with a wider plug gap, which is supposedly better.
