owlscastle Posted January 26, 2010 Posted January 26, 2010 http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws....EWAX:IT Seems like a spoof ad to me? Anyone seen it before?
samcooke Posted January 26, 2010 Posted January 26, 2010 Looks Ok to me is it just the 0 feedback that worries you? Except : QUOTE THIS CAR HAS NEVER SEEN RAIN AND HAS BEEN DOWN TO LE' MANS TWICE WITHOUT PUTTING A FOOT WRONG It always rains at le mans.
peterg Posted January 26, 2010 Posted January 26, 2010 Not seen it before but I wouldn't want to have an accident in those harnesses as the rollbar they're bolted to doesn't have any diagonal front/rear bracing The bodywork looks more like Caterham than Westfield despite his claim that "the bodywork/lights are all Westfield" and I am always wary of someone who can't find the CAPS LOCK key to turn them off....
Cleggy the Spyder Man Posted January 26, 2010 Posted January 26, 2010 Might be totally honest - Car looks great but I would be extremely careful as with no feedback and a slightly odd description of the car would make me very suspicious - only view car at its registered owners address etc etc also worth worth typing reg into a car data check site like the AA's - see if it recognises the reg number I know when I bought the Spyder I made a point of looking on google street maps (walk through street view) and I was able to see the house before I had visited - the house and street looked good and when I got there I made sure they went into the house - but I am a careful sod
peterg Posted January 26, 2010 Posted January 26, 2010 From a basic RAC Data Check:- The summary vehicle description is supplied by the DVLA for registration number GIG 6943 Make Model NSU
cliveboy8 Posted January 26, 2010 Posted January 26, 2010 PLEASE DO NOT CONFUSE THIS CAR WITH SOMETHING THAT HAS BEEN BUILY IN A GARAGE AT HOME. The cheeky f*cker! My car was built in my garage at home. Never believe anyone who says a car has never seen or been out in the rain. They are lying ba$tards. Hope he takes a big loss on the sale.
cliveboy8 Posted January 26, 2010 Posted January 26, 2010 Might want to see this one tomobiles_UK?hash=item20af2c7204" target="_blank">Here Seems it could be a bit iffy. Just sent the seller a question:- Hi, car looks great. Can you just answer a couple of questions: 1. How long have you owned the car and does your name appear as the registered keeper on the V5? 2. Why is exactly the same car being sold by someone else on ebay with an E registration under item number 140377879044?
