Mossman Posted August 7, 2002 Share Posted August 7, 2002 Hello all, I am keen to upgrade my VX engine with one of the SBD/QED bolt on kits, just one of the mild ones to increase power to approx 210bhp. Being a complete mechanical luddite my questions are ... Who could do this?! Does the kit come with everything that will be needed? Would any good garage/mechanic be able to perform the installation or would I need to go to a specialist? How big a job, labour wise is it? I live just north of Hull and would love to find somewhere local. Would Plays Kool in Bradford carry out the work? How long would it take?
