which trailer

Hi,

I am looking to buy a trailer for my prelit westfield.

Ideally the trailer should be light and not more than 2.2m wide.

The rear trackwidth of my car is 1550mm and I was wondering if anyone put a Westfield on top of a Brian James Clubman 1000S.  In theory it should work, but I was just wondering how much clearance is really necessary.

The overall width should not be more than 2.2m as otherwise I cannot fit it in my garage.  It should also be light and easy to manoeuvre by hand as my alley is narrow and steep.

Does anyone make closed trailer in this dimension?

Regards

Kurt

I've got a covered BJ Clubman 950. It is a tight fit! It's not necessarily the width that's the problem, that's okay even with wide track, it's the length. With the nose cone touching the jerry can box, the rear cover still touches the back of the car. This could be overcome with a bit of jiggery pokery but I didn't build the trailer and it hasn't been enough of a problem to change it.

Hi,

I may be interested in a second hand trailer.

I am still looking for a company that could make a simple frame around the trailer and a "canvas" cover

Cheers

Kurt
