furtive
What's the best way to cut GRP if I don't own a Dremel? I want to enlarge the hole at the front of my nose cone to improve cooling. Doesn't matter if it's not pretty as it's an old nose I will be experimenting on.

John Loudon - Sponsorship Liaison
Use a drill to drill a series of small holes around the inside of where you want to have the hole and then join the holes together with a hacksaw blade. Then use a file and coarse emery paper wrapped around something round, eg bog roll inner, peice of dowel etc to smooth out the shape.
