JeffC Posted October 25, 2009 Posted October 25, 2009 so.... swmbo and offspring are viewing X factor, I believe a show about people that can sing the public vote for the singers they want to keep in which sounds fair, but this is what I dont get who the hell will buy any records that those 2 brothers are going to make and they got enough votes to stay in rant over Quote
Mark Stanton Posted October 25, 2009 Posted October 25, 2009 and relax ........... its all crap anyway and fixed record companies wil have final say on who is successful and can be exploited the rest is just a "phone tax" for the stupid much better stuff to watch on other channels Quote
Jackv4 Posted October 25, 2009 Posted October 25, 2009 wish you could vote to get rid of the annoying prats Quote
gixermark Posted October 25, 2009 Posted October 25, 2009 "phone tax" for the stupid : classic but Oh so true !! Quote
V8grunt Posted October 26, 2009 Posted October 26, 2009 This "Voting" thing really is a dead end street, When you get to my age you realize that who ever gets the votes..... They are all in it to make money for themselves! O! and as regards the Tweedle dee and Tweedle dum, when they got thru "Boot Camp" It confirmed my mind that it,s all rubbish, Walsh only picked them because he fancies both of their, ses. Quote
Hammy Posted October 26, 2009 Posted October 26, 2009 good day Mr Grunt -you are still around then. Quote
Bob Green Posted October 26, 2009 Posted October 26, 2009 much better stuff to watch on other channels Where?? I have 90 billion channels on my television and it's all mostly s***e!! When I turn on the television on a Saturday night, I want entertainment and not programmes that are aimed at an audience with an IQ of less than 0.01. Mark, you are absolutely correct about the telephone tax. After voting on Exorcist Factor, the plebes next call would be to try and appear on the Jeremy Kyle show! What is happening to television? Why are we having so much crap to watch? The modern day production makes “Crossroads” (and you will remember that soap) like a Shakespearian play! I could go on forever but I have a life. Quote
Lurksalot Posted October 26, 2009 Posted October 26, 2009 I think you probably nailed the answer in the question Jeff Jo Public ....... as opposed to Joe Public . I reckon its a gender thing , so there is not a hope in hell of understanding it Quote
boblog Posted October 26, 2009 Posted October 26, 2009 What amazes me is this, personally I do'nt watch this programme, most people that come into my yard rattle on about it just like Jeff, if it is that bad, which it must be by the number of jokes I have been sent about these bl+++dy twins, then it can only be Mum and Dad letting the kids vote. Simon Cowell should be bl+++dy Prime Minister, he CAN gat people to vote for what the hell he wants. Quote
RichP Posted October 26, 2009 Posted October 26, 2009 Doesn't everyone end up just watching re-runs of Top Gear, Mock the Week and QI on Dave? I certainly do! There's bu**er all else on! Quote

fatbaldbloke Posted October 26, 2009 Posted October 26, 2009 ....and American Chopper.... (it's a show about custom bikes just in case anybody had other ideas....) Quote
fatbaldbloke Posted October 26, 2009 Posted October 26, 2009 QUOTE it's a show about custom bikes The first couple of series are the best, it's gone downhill since it became more family reality and less bikes. Looks likely to be dropped by Discovery after the current series. Quote
