I'm planning to bring my family down to Exeter area for a couple of nights, then visit the show on one of the days myself (probably Saturday) to stock up on some parts for winter maintenance.

I need to find a suitable guest house or inexpensive hotel for the 3 of us, could anyone local make some suggestions - preferably good but inexpensive so I have cash left to spend at the show. I'll be travelling from Cambridge area with my family on the Friday late afternoon / evening. :)

Tried looking on the net for a while but not getting very far .

Thanks in advance

Robert

Matt, thanks for the email the other day. If there's no rain on the day I'll meet up for the convoy.

Evening all,

I have the passes and i think a few cars on the stand. I was planning on comming down friday night after my work and ether setting up then or on the saturday morning. I would then satay all day on the saturday, but was then hoping to leave.

So who will volunteer to be there first thing on Sunday (9.00am) and who will be there to take the eeze up and flags down and store them. I will arange collection from you of this equipment on a seperate time?

This would be a big help for me so that i can then spend one day at home over the weekend? (que violins and angels plucking harps).

Who ever is on the sunday shift, i will get passes to you so that you are able to get in free regardless of being in a westie/kit car.

I can be reached on 0797 3326642

Thanks to those who suggested hotel accomodation, sadly in the end we decided it was a bit too far to trek at the mo so we won't be going after all.

Cheers

For those looking at accomodation.

Travellodge in the M5 services at the Junction of the M5 and the topsham

rd. This is 1-2miles away. The next closest is Tiverton, but is in fact the J27 of the M5, about 15 miles away.

Premmier inn are at 398 topsham rd (countess wear), about 5miles away

Holiday inn express are on Guardian way, about 3 miles away.

There are also lots of guest houses around but i do not know all of these.

We are on Stand M101, next door to MK sportscars.....which will be good. Westfield are there with the new 1.6Turbo car, as well as the tyre shredding passenger experience in the carpark. Other makes are launching new bits of kit, so will be quite an event.

See you all there.
