BTTT after some bits have now gone (the quick rack has dibs). I'll listen to sane offers on any of the bits, before I have to attempt the 'bay.  Any non-members can contact me via my website which is linked at the bottom of each of my posts.

  • 3 weeks later...

Boing. Still got bits blocking up the garage, am open to sensible offers on it.  Am particularly keen to get shot of the tyres...  there's about 1k miles left in them.

Hi Moomin,

I could be interested in the Petty strut, and the seat mounting kit. Questions:

How does the Petty strut fit to the main rollhoop and the floor/chassis? Does it involve welding brackets to the hoop and the chassis, or is there an alternative?

What make is the seat fitting kit? Is it Westfield's own, and I wonder if it would fit other makes, specifically J K Composites? I'm seeing J K Composites later today as it happens, might buy one of their own, but if yours is universal and much cheaper it might change my mind!

It was supplied by Westfield. As you can see from the photo, the side 'blades' could probably be used on a variety of seats, but the cross-brace part is obviously determined by the width of the seat.  I used them without the cross-braces on my car and didn't have a problem.

I can do some additional measuring for you if it helps?

moom.
