housebeautician Posted July 29, 2009 Posted July 29, 2009 maybe he will try killing lewis this time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Quote
Matt Seabrook Posted July 29, 2009 Posted July 29, 2009 Well I will go to the foot of our stairs. Did not think it was on the cards but if it does happen I will be very happy. Quote
pistonbroke2 Posted July 29, 2009 Posted July 29, 2009 Can only bet that Krouty will only drive if his car is loads better than the competition. I dont think his ego would take coming second No T.control and less aerodynamics would be interesting to see what he could do. Quote
stephenh Posted July 29, 2009 Posted July 29, 2009 I dont know the details of the F1 rules, but I guess he can practice in a non-F1 single seater to get back "in the groove" prior to practice for the next round? I had the utmost respect for his driving ability, but it would take a miracle to be able to step into a F1 car and be "on the pace" immediately after a year and a half layoff, without the opportunity to drive some sort of high performance single seater to get back to the feel of it. As I understand it, he hasn't driven any type of single seater in race conditions since retiring? Quote
RICHARD+PHILIP Posted July 29, 2009 Posted July 29, 2009 Yippee I can wear my MS Ferrari T shirt again! it's going to be fantastic the only problem is if he can get back into it quickly enough what with the testing ban he'll only get Friday Spot on the sofa booked for Valencia already Quote
Guest Posted July 29, 2009 Posted July 29, 2009 He can drive an F2008 and a half all day long , he just can't drive the current car Quote
samcooke Posted July 29, 2009 Posted July 29, 2009 I sincerely hope this does happen, but didn't his agent poo-poo it this morning? Quote
housebeautician Posted July 29, 2009 Posted July 29, 2009 yes he is back. just announced on the box. b****r! Quote
hoobahole Posted July 29, 2009 Posted July 29, 2009 This is excellent news! I can't wait to see how he does. I am expecting and hoping that he'll drag the Ferrari to the front of the grid, and upset a few people along the way (as long as it's not Button!). Roll on the next race. Rog Quote
SparkyB Posted July 29, 2009 Posted July 29, 2009 Is it me or is it a rather interesting coincidence that his return is confirmed on the same day we are told the rest of the summer will be wet! The return of the 'Regenmeister'? Quote

Matt Seabrook Posted July 29, 2009 Posted July 29, 2009 What you mean Coulthard lifting on the racing line in the p*****g rain with zero viz was M.S. fault I think Coulthard has also hinted that it was no accident he slowed up. Quote
