KerryS
And a special award for the cleanest front nearside wheel goes to .... ....Paul Pocklington When you have adjusted 137 cars' positions on the startline by lunchtime, you sort of get to know front offside wheels. Andy did the afternoon stint on this job. Sorry couldn't make it for the whole weekend owing to a clash of events.
Mid life crisis
Great day out, superbly run, a credit to all concerned in the organization of the event . Has been so long since I was in the paddock, had almost forgotten how good the camaraderie and banter is. Special thanks to Paul Poclington for having the faith to let me drive his car, and sorry for the square tyres Paul, those 4 pots are sooo much more efficient than my escort brakes. Quite looking forward to getting my old banger back this week.
SteveD
To all that were there it was great seeing you again, but I can't thank you all individually however I must mention 2 of you, Peter Gutteridge and Ron Hunt, for allowing me onto (I think) post 1 to watch some of the action from my wheelchair. Unfortunately by 2-230, I became very tired and needed to go home (this weekend being the first time out of my bedroom.since coming home from hospital). Hope to see you all later in the year. Roland ps congrats to Matt nice to see you again wuv you lasted longer than me i was tired by 10.
greenandmean
By the way Paul P it was Robs idea to hide the car....nothing to do with me Once I realised Rob was in the paddock it never was in doubt who was responsible, must admit I found the wooden prop very funny or the work of a warped mind. dannyboy
Super weekend a big thanks to all involved especially Paul and Pete for showing me the way and helping me at my first event. A massive thanks to everyone that spotted my problem and quickly fixed it as I wouldn't have been able to compete without your help, especially Mick for cutting up that dash, I still cannot believe you did it. Thanks also to Gary Bunn and Barney and anyone else I have not mentioned in this picture
