evo.rocks
i was just wondering if having two different sized wheels on my westy would make much difference, with 16's on the rear and 14's upfront. Or would it handle better with 16's all round?
blankczechbook
no it wouldn't seems to be the answer. 13s and 14s are lighter rims, the tyres are better value... 16s are very big for a little car :-)
thos
13's all round!
swinster72
Hi I run 16's with 215 on the back and 205 on the front with r888's and handling is fine 13's are supposed to be better handling wise and also lighter and cheaper 16's do look good on tho especially as they are black to go with black car! i've done plenty of trackdays and less you're jenson button i'm not sure you'd notice that much difference! just get some quality tyres r888's or a048's would be my choice cheers swinster72
chazpowerslide
The difference on mine between 15" and 13" wheels was staggering, the 13" rims (7"x13" with 205 tyres) are better by miles. More progressive, more grip, less tramlining and far less skittish on rougher roads. I'm no Jensen Button but the difference between the 13" and 15" rims is very noticeable. Chaz. brindle
just spoke to Jenson Button. He says 15"s for show, 13" for go, 16"+ for saxos
